In unprecedented and unpredictable times, I left my job in sales to pursue my love for Finance, Himanshu saw that passion on our first interaction and I joined The Wall Street school’s 6-week program. I loved the course throughout and learnt more than I could have imagined. Being from a technical background, it was always a uphill task to get a core finance role, but the TWSS tutors and their placement cell made sure I get what I deserve and help me not only find a job but also the 6 weeks of training in financial models and valuations is something that invaluable. It was a steep learning curve but the support of all the faculties and TWSS staff has made it easy.

I joined TWSS in September with an aim to hone my skills in financial modeling and valuations. I can say without a doubt that for a beginner/intermediate who is looking to dive into this deep, vast world of finance, joining TWSS should be a no-brainer. I was a student of 185th batch and my experience with Wall Street school was great. Faculty taught us concepts in a very practical way and there were much informative class discussions during sessions. Placement cell helped me to get placed that too amid a pandemic.

Being from an engineering background, I was sceptical to find a career in finance. TWSS gave me chance to learn relevant and practical skills in excel, financial modelling and valuation to kickstart my journey in finance. With teachers giving a great learning experience and career guidance, I am happy to have enrolled in this course and would suggest it to students looking to enter the field of investment banking.

It was a great learning experience at The Wall Street School. I joined investment banking program of TWSS to learn about financial modelling and valuations so that I can begin my career in the direction I had envisioned and after getting placed in a financial modeling role, I can happily say that TWSS has lived up to my expectations. Since my CA days, I want into core finance role. Later I get to know about Investment Banking. So, I studied about it on internet a bit. After clearing CA, I joined an ERP implementation company, I worked there for 1 year but didn’t enjoyed much. Then I decided to quit and go for Investment Banking as a career. Suddenly, COVID thing also came. That time I have heard a bit about “The Wallstreet School”, so, I thought this will be the time to upskill myself. Then I joined TWSS and get to understand ” Financial Modelling and Valuations” for the first time. Followed by that I approached them for Placement as well as those were COVID times, So difficult to get a good job that too in Investment Banking. So, I applied for the placememt as well and got a job in Debt Syndication (In a Boutique Investment Firm). Through out this process, Himanshu sir helped me a lot. During his teaching and after that believing in me and mentoring me in the right direction according to his vast experience. I would like to thank Himanshu Sir and team for the great support through out this tough time of COVID.

I am Ketan Umaraliya, Graduated with softcore engineering stream, Chemical engineering. I had one-year work experience in the domain of engineering consultancy. After one year and exploring other domains of the job world, like every other engineer, I wanted to switch field and wanted to make a career in the finance sector. Apart from perks, one gets by working in finance my love for numbers was another reason why I wanted to make a career in this sector. But odds are against me, with no prior work-ex or no prior relative academic background. With 6 week course at The WallStreet School on “Financial modelling and Valuation”, I was industry ready, thorough with my basics to advance level of fundamentals taught and discussed during classroom sessions. Excellent faculties of TWSS: Himanshu Jain, Manoj Goel, Mohit Sing, Vikas Vohra, and Pankaj Goel, made it possible for me. Training provided at the proficient level has helped me to comprehend the financial modelling and valuation tools at a professional level. Last but not the least, the placement cell: Punit sir and Anmol sir, is really active and, who really helped me to transform my career from Engineering to Finance.
